Project Rebirth’s Education Team focuses on sharing stories of resilience, hope and healing as a result of 9/11. Use of our film content provides an opportunity for students to experience eye witness accounts of history. Our lesson plans were created by teachers at the middle and high school level and provide unique insights into the human dimension of a seminal historic event and the resilience of the human spirit. The diversity of the New York Metro area community and the nine individuals whose journeys are documented by Project Rebirth’s films facilitate powerful lessons on how diversity helps build resilience in communities and organizations.
