The Project Rebirth Center: Meeting an Urgent Need

Project Rebirth’s goal is to release a feature-length documentary based on the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site and chronicling years of our ten subjects’ lives as they cope with the effects of 9/11.  Any proceeds from the commercial release of our film, and from any other commercial content developed by Project Rebirth, will be reinvested to endow a Project Rebirth Center for victims of and first responders to events of traumatic loss.  Along with our documentary film, our installation in the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the WTC and any other media created from our unique chronicles will serve to contribute to the memory of 9/11 for generations to come.

Our goal of endowing a Project Rebirth Center reinvests our philanthropic support to build a specialized center of practical and educational therapeutic excellence in honor of those who suffered through 9/11 and those who sacrificed - and the many who continue to serve - to aid the victims of the World Trade Center attacks.

We are currently collaborating with a number of leading organizations to develop partnerships that will 1) make use of our existing film library for therapeutic, educational and academic purposes and 2) prepare Rebirth to best deliver any future resources we generate to shape the Project Rebirth Center into the most beneficial and effective organization possible.

Until Project Rebirth’s filming budget is fully funded, all ongoing support will be focused on the completion of our film and media; the first step in realizing our long-term goals. At the same time, our partner organizations will apply their own professional skills and financial resources to advance projects and initiatives that are closely in line with Rebirth’s strategic plan and leverage the investment our supporters have made in our unique film chronicles.
