Advancing Rebirth's Educational, Academic and Therapeutic Objectives

Project Rebirth’s living history has produced extensive film archives which
Columbia University’s Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL) and Georgetown University have recently used in developing further studies of traumatic loss and support of its victims.  Through Project Rebirth’s unique footage of interview hours and time-lapse reconstruction the university communities will drive curricula and programming that will influence students and teachers to the long-term impacts of 9/11; on individuals and communities.

The website http://ccnmtl.columbia.edu/projects/rebirth/;
recently launched, highlights the courses conducted by faculty from both universities. The web site provides information for the general public and also describes related courses taught by leading figures in clinical psychology, psychiatry, social work and nursing, among others.
